Join two of UCCE Imperial County extension adviser's, Ana Pastrana (Plant Pathologist) and Arun Babu (Entomologist) as they host a series of monthly meetings designed to provide PCA's and growers the latest research education, local AG updates and networking opportunities.
This month's meeting will cover onion downy mildew; current management strategies and new fungicide evaluations in Imperial Valley desert conditions. The sweetpotato whitefly; recent restrictions on insecticide and current status of whitefly popultaion dynamics in Imperial Valley.
Guest speaker for this month's meeting will be Vegetable Crops Advisor, Philip Waisen who will discuss nematodes and several management options in low desert vegetable crops.
