Youth Opportunities
What does 4-H offer for its youth members?
Projects: Members have the opportunity to participate in one or more 4-H projects. The purpose of project meetings is to guide the members in gaining knowledge, attitudes, skills, and habits needed to complete their work successfully. See the list of California 4-H Projects, and know that if Imperial County doesn't offer this project yet, YOU can be a founding member!
Primary Members: Primary members are youth between the ages of five and eight, enrolled in the 4-H program. Primary members are 5 years old by December 31st of the program year. Youth who turn 9 on or after January 1st must participate as a primary member until June 30th of the program year. Primary Member Fact Sheet
