Returning Volunteer

Thanks to volunteers like you, 4-H programs continue to thrive across California and the nation. Thank you for helping us grow true leaders!

All volunteers must be appointed annually. If you are currently a 4-H Adult Volunteer, please re-apply so that you may be re-appointed by December 31st to continue serving as a volunteer, without a break in your service. If a break in service does occur, please complete the application under the New Volunteer tab.

Re-application process:

1.  Update your 4hOnline profile.

     Log in to 4hOnline to update your profile to enroll for the coming year. Please          ensure the email address in the system is correct and one you check regularly.

  1. Take the Returning Volunteers Training in the online extension system.

4-H volunteer applications are reviewed and appointed annually by the County Director. Adult applicants must complete the following process once for as long as they are continuously enrolled. If there is a gap in enrollment, these steps must be repeated.

New Volunteer Orientation

Welcome to the Imperial County 4-H Youth Development Program!

We look forward to you becoming a 4-H Adult Volunteer.  The 4-H Youth Development Program is a unique educational program where adults work side by side with youth in a mentoring capacity.  Please read the instructions below to begin your 4-H Adult Volunteer orientation process.

5. Enroll in the 4hOnline enrollment system at:https://california.4honline.com. Enrollment for adults is the same as for youth (See "How to Join"), except that you will need to take a couple of additional steps that help us to ensure a safe, healthy learning environment for youth in our program.
