4-H Council
Imperial County 4-H Council
4-H Council's purpose is to plan, promote and carry out 4-H youth development work. The council consists of volunteers who work together to improve the quality for the youth and adult volunteers.
Council is made up of all 4-H volunteers in the county. The meetings are open to all interested persons. All active 4-H adult volunteers are voting members of the 4-H Council - not just the community leaders.
There are nine meetings during the program year (first Thursday in August, September, October, November, January, February, April, May, June) where the business of the Council is conducted and voted on. All clubs should be represented. These representatives should then report back to their club about what was discussed at the meeting.
